This WordPress website served as the homepage for Gangbusters, my handmade jewelry business from 2007 to 2013. I selected elements of damaged comic books and other special paper materials, united them with orphaned game pieces of all shapes and sizes, and used acrylic resin to protect them from wear as pendants, rings, cufflinks and belt buckles.
The line was sold in local shops, at craft festivals around the Southeast (mostly around the Atlanta area, though I did travel to Tennessee and South Carolina!) and online in my Etsy shop. Because of the online sales, I experimented a lot with product photography.
Eventually, I added a line of brass-and-gold jewelry made from hardware. For that collection, which I nicknamed Steamroll, I created a miniature lookbook for distribution in the local shops where it was sold. I created the logo, styled the shoot, took the photos, and designed the booklet.
Here are some more product shots.
